Can I get rid of my plastic floor mat after installing these wheels?

If you intend to use them on a hard floor surface (e.g. hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile, etc.), a floor mat is not required. Our office chair wheels are constructed of soft polyurethane and will be completely safe for all types of floors you have.

If you intend to use them on a thick, plush carpet, a floor mat may provide easier movement for your chair.
