I moved into a new house with bamboo engineering floors, and found out that my chair was scratching up the floors. When looking for a replacement I came across “Opttico’s office gliders. When the wheels arrived, I replaced the old stock wheels with my new gliders. They fit perfectly and I didn’t have to use any tools. They are extremely well built, made out of steel parts and good quality rubber. They are not only super quiet, but never scuffed up or marked up my floors. In addition, they look so nice! My wife who works from home and uses the chair 8 – 10 hours a day absolutely loves them. HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE!!! That was a very good investment to protect my floors and give my office chair a new fresh look!

Had to get new wheels for my home office chair because I recently had laminate flooring installed and the original office chair caster wheels would have scratched the new flooring. Let me tell you that these wheels are super smooth as silent. I’ve placed these on two different chairs and they were super easy to install.

Quietest wheels I’ve ever used. The build quality seems top notch and the rubber has enough give that it doesn’t seem like it has a potential to scratch on my hardwood. Atheistically a little ugly, but that’s up to personal taste and the photos are an accurate representation of what you’ll get.

I’ve tried multiple different brands. These are great. Good solid make and they are very quiet. It takes about 14 seconds to change your old castors out to these new wheels. I’ll likely order more for other chairs in our office.

Opttico Office Chair Caster Replacement Wheels are the answer to your problems if you need replacement wheels that will hold heavy weights, super easy to roll, very smooth and easy to install. These wheels are a set of 5 wheels, 3 inches diameter each. The wheels are a clear super heavy resin type material and metal frame. They are only about an inch wide including the side brackets. The actual wheel is only about 3/4 inch wide. These will not leave black marks on your floors, they do move super easy on thicker carpet since they are not a smaller diameter wheel. They move very smoothly and easy too. I have my office chair on some fairly plush carpet and moving it has always been a problem, it just didn’t roll like I would have liked. I am now glad the old wheels started to break. These are so much better than the ones that came on my chair. The little spindle that fits up in the chair is a standard size, perfect fit. These do not say in the ad or on the box the weight recommendations these should handle. We looked these over very close and compared to other OEM chair wheels these do appear to be better made, (or better than any we had here we looked at) and we normally buy bigger heavier chairs. No tools required probably. You just pull your old wheels out, put these on and then turn chair over and put a little weight on it to snap them in place. I did my chair myself and my wheels had been in there and stuck really tight from a few years of use. I did use a pair of channel locks to pull the old wheels out. I don’t think a stronger man or younger person would probably have had to use them though. Very easy to replace in my opinion.

Popped them on and my huge, heavy steel and mesh office chair began gliding effortlessly over a rug atop a carpet, exactly as hoped. No idea how they work or why, just know that they do. Really well, too.

These are pretty fine wheels. I can confirm they do not harm my beautiful maple hardwood floor. The added height from larger dismetrrr wheels solved my petite wife”s ergonomic issue with our computer workstation as I hoped.

I love these castor roller blade wheels. All the office chairs today seem to come with plastic castors on them and eventually the plastic splits and leaves black marks on the floor or your mat. These are real rubber wheels and are clear so they don’t leave marks, they roll very easy, and they are quiet. No more breaking of plastic castors or leaving marks on the floor.
